Armenia proposes to announce mobilisation

Armenian military expert Van Hambardzumyan has called on the Armenian authorities to promptly announce mobilisation.

The expert predicts a large-scale escalation of the situation along the entire Armenian-Azerbaijani conditional border, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Armenian media.

He said that reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been making more flights recently.

“Moreover, the troops, especially Azerbaijani special forces, gathered on the border, offensive military equipment was brought. All this shows the intention to conduct another offensive operation,” the expert said.

“Armenia must be ready for such a development of events to prevent the effect of surprise and again not to have numerous victims as during the recent hostilities on September 13-14, 2022. We must make preparations, it is necessary to announce mobilisation,” Hambardzumyan said.
