Armenian Parliament to discuss law On Defenсe at extraordinary session

The National Assembly of Armenia will convene an extraordinary session on June 7, which will be the last one.

“The agenda of the session includes 22 issues that legislators have not yet had time to discuss, Caliber.Az reports referring to the Yerevan -based Zhoghovurd newspaper.

The author of most of the drafts is the government, they will be discussed in the first reading.

The agenda also includes the issue of introducing amendments and additions to the law "On Defence", which provides for structural changes in the Ministry of Defence. For example, the post of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces will be abolished, the Deputy Minister of Defence will take this post,” the newspaper says.
