Armenian PM meets US VP Vance to discuss South Caucasus, bilateral ties
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with US Vice President James David Vance as part of his working visit to the United States.
The two officials discussed the situation in the South Caucasus and relations between Yerevan and Washington, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.
Note that, Pashinyan, currently in the US for a working visit from February 3-7. He attended the fifth summit of the International Alliance for Religious Freedom in Washington on February 4-5. He also delivered a speech at the summit, which includes 42 member countries.
In addition, Pashinyan participated in the National Prayer Breakfast, an annual event often attended by the US president and visited the Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. to deliver a lecture.
This visit follows a January trip by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who signed a strategic partnership agreement with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, underscoring Armenia's aim to strengthen ties with Euro-Atlantic structures.
