The Armenian police detained 65 participants of an unauthorized protest outside the 102nd base of the Russian Armed Forces in Gyumri.
The head of the public relations department of the Armenian Police, Zarzand Gabrielyan, made the remakrs in an interview with Sputnik.

An anti-Russian rally is taking place near the 102nd military base of the Russian Armed Forces in the Armenian city of Gyumri.
The demonstrators are chanting anti-Russian slogans and holding posters with the inscriptions: "There is no such ally in the pot", "Russia is an ally of Turkey and Azerbaijan", "No CSTO!" and others, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.
According to Interfax, the special forces of the Armenian police began to detain the participants of the rally. The police warned about the illegality of the action, demanding to stop it, in response, the demonstrators began shouting anti-Russian slogans.The participants of the action declared the need for Armenia to withdraw from the CSTO.

Before the anti-Russian action announced by the radicals, the police in Gyumri blocked the approaches to the Russian Federation's 102nd military base stationed here in Armenia.
Earlier, a member of the opposition Armenian party National Democratic Pole Vahe Gasparyan threatened to block the 102nd military base of the Russian Armed Forces, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.
"We will appeal to our people to block the military base in Gyumri. The Russian military base will be surrounded," he said.
