Artillery ammunitions found in Sumgait city of Azerbaijan PHOTO

The hotline "112" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan received on July 19 a call about the discovery of ammunition in the territory of the settlement of Kimyachilarin the city of Sumgait.

The ministry's press service told Caliber.Az a demining group of the Special Risk Rescue Service of the ministry was immediately deployed to the place.

During the inspection of the territory, 9 units of 30-mm high-explosive anti-aircraft artillery shells, 12 units of 30-mm armour-piercing anti-aircraft artillery shells, 59 units of 23-mm armour-piercing anti-aircraft artillery shells, 22 pieces of M-12 fuses, 9 pieces of V-429 fuses, 13 pieces of T-90 fuse, and 5 ammunition fuses were found.

The ammunition was seized and removed from the territory for disposal.
