Azerbaijan among top 50 in UN Sustainable Dev't Goals Report 2022

Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has said that Azerbaijan is among the top 50 countries in the UN Sustainable Development Goals Report 2022.

He made the statement at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 24, Report informs.

The minister noted that Azerbaijan is fully committed to the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

"For this purpose, we have launched a new development strategy until 2030. Our country made progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in 2021 and is among the top 50 countries in the UN 2022 Sustainable Development Goals Report. Moreover, Azerbaijan is among the 12 countries that submitted three Voluntary National Reviews at the High-Level Political Forum held under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC)," he added.
