Azerbaijan announces regular admission to Reserve Officers' Training Course
A new round of admissions to the Reserve Officers Training Course has been announced by the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan.
The ministry told Caliber.Az that candidates under 35 who've completed active military service, have higher education and wish to volunteer for active military service in military units of the Ministry of Defence can apply to the Azerbaijan Army Training Centre's admission committee by January 19.
Citizens who apply for admission to the Reserve Officers' Training Course will be sent to the Central Military Medical Commission of the Ministry of Defence to determine their fitness for military service. Following the Commission's decision, those found fit for military service will be admitted to the entrance examinations.
Candidates who successfully pass the examinations to determine their physical fitness, general level of knowledge, thinking ability, communication ability, decision-making ability, personality, psychological and other qualities are admitted to the course in their respective fields.
Those who complete the Reserve Officers' Training Course will be contracted for active military service with the military rank of "Lieutenant" and will be appointed to positions corresponding to their qualifications.
