Azerbaijan, China discuss boosting cargo transit through Middle Corridor PHOTO

Azerbaijan Railways and a delegation from China’s Guangdong Province held talks at the Baku International Sea Trade Port to explore new opportunities for cargo transportation along the Middle Corridor. 

The discussions, held between Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Arif Aghayev and a delegation from China’s Guangdong Province, focused on strengthening cooperation between the Baku Port and ports in Guangdong, Caliber.Az reports.

The slides particularly emphasised the strategic importance of the route and enhancing the efficiency and security of cargo movement.

The Chinese delegation was also introduced to the growing logistics potential of the Baku Port and its favourable conditions for multimodal transportation.
