Azerbaijan, France hold political consultations

Bilateral political consultations between the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France have been recently held in Paris, the capital of France.

The Azerbaijani delegation was headed by Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, while the French delegation - by the Director for Continental Europe at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Frederic Mondoloni, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

The current state and prospects of bilateral relations, cooperation in the economic and humanitarian spheres, regional issues, Azerbaijan's relations with European countries and the EU were discussed during the talks.

The sides exchanged views on issues related to the current situation in the region, the implementation of tripartite statements, and the normalisation of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
