Azerbaijan increases cacao export

Cocoa and cocoa products worth $58,121.81 were imported to Azerbaijan from January through August 2022.

The cost of imports increased by 5.5 per cent from January through August 2022 compared to the same period of 2021, Caliber.Az reports on September 20 with reference to the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.

The imports of these products to Azerbaijan increased in value terms by $4,080.14 or 86.8 per cent in August 2022 compared to July 2022.

Cocoa worth $8,780.62 was imported into Azerbaijan in August 2022.

The share of these products in imports for the first eight months of this year amounted to 0.66 per cent.

These products worth $6,336.81 were exported from Azerbaijan from January through August 2022, which is 2.4 times more compared to the same period of 2021.

The share of these products in exports from January through August 2022 reached 0.02 per cent.
