Azerbaijan, Lithuania discuss environmental cooperation in liberated lands

Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Egidijus Navikas has said that Lithuania is holding discussions on environmental cooperation with Azerbaijan in the liberated lands.

He made the remark on the sidelines of a conference on ecology in Zangilan, Report says.

"We have not yet decided how exactly the work will be carried out, it is unknown whether this will be tree planting or other works," he said, noting that the country is exploring various opportunities for cooperation with Azerbaijan.

"We have some projects, but we are not yet represented in the liberated territories," the Lithuanian ambassador said, adding that he is very impressed by the work done in the liberated territories in a short time.
