Azerbaijan prioritizes strategic partnership with China Xinhua highlights presidential aide’s statement
China's official Xinhua News Agency has published an article regarding a statement by Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.
The article quotes Hajiyev’s remarks on Azerbaijan's commitment to strengthening its relations with China, noting that the bilateral ties have now achieved the status of a strategic partnership and are progressing steadily, Caliber.Az reports.
Hajiyev underscored the global benefits of China’s development, particularly its technological advancements, which he believes positively impact the entire world, including nations in the Global South.
According to the presidential assistant, to enhance people-to-people connections, Azerbaijan has unilaterally introduced a visa-free regime for Chinese citizens, aiming to boost tourism and foster closer ties between the two countries.
