Azerbaijan resettles 41 families in Girmizi Bazar, Sos

Azerbaijan has moved dozens of families into newly built homes in the settlement of Girmizi Bazar and the village of Sos in the Khojavend district, as part of President Ilham Aliyev’s Great Return programme to repopulate territories restored to Azerbaijani control.

Thus, 21 families (89 people) were resettled in Girmizi Bazar on November 19, while another 20 families (80 people) moved to Sos, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Many had been living for years in dormitories, sanatoriums and administrative buildings.

Returning residents expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, praising the authorities for sustained support and reconstruction efforts across the region.
