Azerbaijan responds to Armenia over detention of Karabakh man

The Armenian Foreign Ministry continues to spread disinformation.

In a tweet, the spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Aykhan Hajizada said, Caliber.Az reports.

In response to the false information by Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ani Badalyan, Hajizada tweeted that “the mentioned 68-year-old person, Vagif Cherkezovich Khachaturyan, is an internationally wanted fugitive of the Meshali massacre, #Khojaly”.

Hajizada further added that the investigation has established that Khachaturyan is one of the Armenian armed criminals, who attacked the village of Meshali in 1991, killed 25 Azerbaijanis, wounded 14, and expelled 358 Azerbaijanis from their native lands.
