Azerbaijan’s state committee for refugees initiates renovation work in five districts
Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) has launched renovation works in five districts, including Mingachevir city, Goygol, Barda, Aghjabadi, and Bilasuvar, which are home to displaced populations.
According to the unified internet portal of public procurement, the Directorate of Construction Enterprises under the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons has initiated preparations for the renovations, Caliber.Az reports.
The work is aimed at improving living conditions for IDPs residing in these areas.
Caspian Standart Limited Liability Company has been tasked with executing the renovation works, following the conclusion of a contract worth 302,2 million manats ($177.8 million).
Under this agreement, the company will carry out various construction and repair tasks as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the facilities for IDPs in these districts.
The renovation works are expected to help improve the quality of life for displaced families and contribute to the overall development of the affected regions.
