Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia explore green energy cooperation
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has indicated that Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia have explored collaborative efforts in ongoing projects and future initiatives related to shifting towards renewable energy.
“Together with my colleague, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov, we held a videoconference with HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, the Minister of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During our discussion, we reviewed ongoing energy cooperation and explored potential initiatives to enhance our collaborative efforts, particularly focusing on transitioning to green energy,” Caliber.Az reports citing Jabbarov’s message on X.
Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan maintain diplomatic relations focused on various sectors including energy, economics, and culture.
