Azerbaijan showcases cutting-edge technology to foreign military attaches
An informational visit to the Air Force Repair Plant in Azerbaijan has been organised for 22 military attaches from foreign countries accredited in the country, in line with the annual action plan approved by Azerbaijani Defence Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.
Those military attaches represent 17 countries, the Azerbaijani defence ministry told Caliber.Az.
The guests were first given an in-depth briefing on the history, development stages, and current operations of the air repair plant. The plant’s key role in the maintenance, repair, and modernisation of military aviation equipment was highlighted, with particular attention given to the skilled engineers, technical staff, and military aviation specialists employed at the facility, all of whom possess years of experience in the field.
Following the briefing, the military attaches had the opportunity to engage with experts, asking questions and seeking further clarification on topics of interest.
The delegation then toured the plant’s production facilities, witnessing firsthand the repair, modernisation, and other operational processes in action. The visitors expressed their satisfaction with the work being done and praised the cutting-edge technologies in use, along with the professionalism of the plant’s specialists. The military attaches emphasised the importance of such visits in strengthening international military cooperation and knowledge exchange.
They also expressed their gratitude to the defence ministry for organising the insightful visit, which contributed to fostering better military relations between Azerbaijan and the visiting countries.
