Azerbaijan, Türkiye discuss investment opportunities

The Azerbaijan Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Business (SME) continues to hold meetings with local and foreign entrepreneurs in order to expand ties and implement new business initiatives.

Within the framework of the 47th Annual Investment Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group in Egypt, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan SME Development Agency, met with Minister of Treasury and Finance of Türkiye Nureddin Nebati, the Azerbaijan Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Business told Trend on June 4.

At the meeting, opportunities for investment and joint cooperation, as well as other issues of mutual interest, were discussed.

According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, in January-April 2022, trade with Türkiye exceeded $1.954 billion, while this figure in the same period last year amounted to $1.594 billion (an increase of 22.61 percent over the year).
