Azerbaijan, Türkiye sign memorandum on social sphere PHOTO
The delegation headed by Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services Derya Yanik has visited DOST Agency (Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Security) in Azerbaijan.
The guests viewed the DOST Centre #1 and they were provided with detailed information about the process of rendering services, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population told APA.
Yanik’s visit to DOST Agency coincided with the process of servicing the millionth visitor.
Azerbaijani Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev and Yanik congratulated the millionth visitor - Nisakhanim Alakbarova, delivered a letter of thanks and gifts to her.
Then a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye.
The document was signed by Sahil Babayev and Derya Yanik.
The purpose of the memorandum of understanding is to develop projects to ensure the social well-being of disabled and elderly people, children and women, the war disabled, war veterans and martyr families, exchange knowledge, experience and best practices, improve child protection services, develop and increase the effectiveness of social services for the disabled, the elderly and children.
