Azerbaijani, British universities ink parallel degree agreement

The Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzMİU) and the University of Westminster in the UK have signed a dual diploma agreement on the Master's degree in the speciality of "Restoration and Reconstruction of Monuments of Architecture".

The agreement was signed at the University of Westminster in London within the framework of AzMİU Rector Gulchohra Mammadova's visit to the UK, Report informs.

According to the accord, masters will be able to join the double degree programme from September 2024. Masters students who wish to participate in the programme will study in their first year at the university they are applying to and their second year at the partner university. Students who complete the programme will receive a diploma from both universities.

The agreement also provides for the participation of teachers and students in academic exchanges, mutual visits, organisation of information sessions for students, etc.
