Azerbaijani community in Berlin takes to streets to denounce Armenian terror
The Azerbaijani community in Germany has held a peaceful rally on Berlin’s famous Pariser Platz.
The rally, organised by the Azerbaijani House in Germany Public Association, was held in protest at Armenia’s attempts, which has been pursuing an aggressive policy against Azerbaijan for 30 years, to once again turn the public worldwide into an instrument of political, military and information-oriented manipulation campaign and commit provocations in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with Diaspora told Azertac.
Holding the Azerbaijani flags and posters reading “Azerbaijan wants peace, while Armenia wants war”, “Armenia rejects peace and chooses war”, “Armenia, sign a peace agreement!”, “Armenia, stop planting mines in our lands!” and others were chanted during the rally.
The rally-goers urged the UN Security Council and the international community to put an end to Armenia’s military and environmental terror in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, to ensure the security and protection of human rights of Azerbaijani citizens in Karabakh, and to support Azerbaijan’s peace efforts.
