Azerbaijani conference participants discuss modern international legal tools

The international scientific conference entitled “International Legal Framework for Return to Western Azerbaijan” has been held in the Western Azerbaijan Community.

The conference is dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev, Oxu.Az reports.

The MPs, famous lawyers and representatives of the central organisations of the Western Azerbaijan Community attended the event.

The legal issues related to the return to Western Azerbaijan, opinions on the rights of Western Azerbaijanis to return were explored, the ways of using modern international legal tools to implement the provisions of the Concept of Return, the main goal of which is to ensure the rights of Azerbaijanis expelled from the current territory of Armenia, were discussed at the conference.
