Azerbaijani defence chief off to Uzbekistan on official visit

Azerbaijani Defence Minister Col-Gen Zakir Hasanov is on an official visit to Uzbekistan.

The visit is taking place at the invitation of Uzbek Defence Minister Lt-Gen Bakhodir Kurbanov, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence.

As part of the visit, it is planned to discuss the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the military, military-technical, military-educational and other spheres, as well as a number of other issues of mutual interest.
