Azerbaijani FM sends congratulatory letter to his Latvian colleague

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has sent a congratulatory letter to his Latvian counterpart Krisjanis Kariņs.

The letter was sent on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia, the Latvian embassy in Azerbaijan told Report.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Latvia Elnur Sultanov met with Latvian Deputy Foreign Minister Andžejs Viļumsons and handed him a letter.

During the meeting, the sides appreciated bilateral relations and emphasised that within the strategic partnership, the countries continue holding political dialogue and developing dynamic cooperation in economic and other spheres.

The diplomatic relations between Latvia and Azerbaijan were established on January 11, 1994.
