Azerbaijani judoka becomes European champion

Azerbaijani judoka Shahin Orujev has grabbed a gold medal at the European Judo Championships in the Croatian city of Porec.

Orujev in the weight category up to 55 kg defeated Serbian athlete Matija Jeremic in the final, Report informs.

Earlier, Azerbaijani judoka Mahammad Mamishov (50 kg) won a bronze medal at the European Championships, gaining a victory over Armenian athlete Gor Safaryan during 25 seconds.
