Azerbaijani, Pakistani FMs discuss strategic partnership, regional issues
On May 24, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
The ministers discussed issues arising from the Azerbaijan–Pakistan strategic partnership, as well as various aspects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.
They praised the established strategic ties and reviewed plans for future engagements.
In addition, the two officials shared views on other bilateral and regional matters of mutual interest.
Earlier, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry also reported on the conversation, stating that the ministers reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and international developments.
“The Foreign Ministers also discussed the upcoming visit of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Azerbaijan,” the ministry noted.
