Azerbaijani President’s assistant on visit to US

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev is on a visit to the United States.

Hajiyev is expected to meet with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried, according to Sputnik-Azerbaijan.

It is reported that the talks in question will be held at the US State Department and will be held behind the media.

Earlier, Hajiyev met with the European Union (EU) representatives accredited in Baku and EU ambassadors.
