Azerbaijani Railways Company joins UN Global Compact

The Azerbaijani Railways company has joined the United Nations (UN) Global Compact.

By joining the UN Global Compact, Azerbaijan Railways has become the first company representing Azerbaijan in the initiative, which currently involves about 500 of the world's most influential companies in the transport sector, the company told Report.

The company intends to contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals within this initiative, as well as to the country's economy, by further improving its Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG).
