Azerbaijani state TV channel chief issues warning to Tehran over arms deal with Armenia VIDEO
Rovshan Mammadov, Director of Azerbaijani state TV channel AzTV, in the air of Sunday news and analysis programme “Həftə” (Week), has issued a stern warning to Tehran in connection with the previously circulated information about a secret arms deal between Iran and Armenia.
“It turns out that the information spread by some Iranian media that Iran and Armenia have signed a secret arms deal worth $500 million is not a fake. In other words, Iran, if you are interested in turning the region into a 'powder keg', know that everyone will suffer from it, including you. And these events, by the hands of the US and European countries, as well as Armenia and Iran, are leading to this,” Mammadov said during the aired programme, Caliber.Az reports.
“Azerbaijan will by no means remain in a wait-and-see position in the games aimed at war. Know this," he added.
