CENTCOM: 65 vessels redirected, 4 disabled in Iran naval blockade
The U.S. military has said that the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) is continuing operations in the Arabian Sea as part of ongoing enforcement measures linked to restrictions on maritime traffic involving Iran.
In a statement posted on X, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said American naval forces have redirected 65 commercial vessels and disabled four others during the operation, Caliber.Az reports.

CENTCOM said the carrier strike group operating in the Arabian Sea is supporting efforts to monitor and restrict vessel movements in strategically important waters. The deployment includes carrier-based aircraft and escort ships tasked with surveillance and interception operations.
