CSTO member keen to cooperate with NATO Statement by Armenian Prime Minister
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has affirmed his country’s keenness to cooperate with NATO.
"We are pleased to welcome NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and his delegation to Armenia. This first visit of you to Armenia as NATO Secretary General, is a good opportunity to exchange views on Armenia-NATO cooperation, as well as on regional and global stability and security issues," Pashinyan told a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.
"We are interested in continuing the development of the existing political dialogue and expanding the partnership with both the bloc and individual member states. We hope that a partnership program, individually adapted to the new format of Armenia-NATO cooperation, will be approved in the near future. In light of the developments in our region, it is very important for Armenia to strengthen its resistance and develop appropriate defence capabilities," Pashinyan stated.
