12 March 2026 16:09
On February 28, the first day of the military conflict, daily gasoline consumption in Iran’s capital reached around 24 million litres, but it has since dropped to about one-third, according to Tehran Governor Mohammad Sadegh Motamedian.
He added that thanks to fuel rationing measures and active public cooperation, consumption has fallen to 7–8 million litres per day, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
Authorities also noted that fuel supply in the region now exceeds current demand, and there are no issues with gasoline availability.
