ECO Secretary General hails Azerbaijan’s great potential to attract over 18 million tourists

Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) Khusrav Noziri has said that Azerbaijan enjoys great potential to attract over 18 million tourists to the region, but this number may increase through cooperation with the ECO.

“Azerbaijan has made great strides over the past few years. This is my third or fourth visit to Azerbaijan over this year, and every time I come here, I am pleased to see developments in all spheres, including tourism,” Noziri told journalists, AZERTAC reports.

“I would like to express my gratitude for the opportunity to meet with official representatives of the ECO member states in Azerbaijan and discuss our plans, programs and projects in the tourism sector. From this point of view, Azerbaijan’s initiative is invaluable,” she added.
