European Parliament not to observe presidential elections in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan has not sent an invitation to the European Parliament.

The Azerbaijani side did not send an invitation to the European Parliament to observe the snap presidential elections in Azerbaijan, Report informs citing a diplomatic source.

“The European Parliament stated that it will not monitor the elections in Azerbaijan. No invitation was obtained,” the source said.

The Russian and Armenian media outlets published information about the decision of the European Parliament not to send observers to the upcoming snap presidential elections in Azerbaijan.

The snap presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan on February 7.
