France hands military junk over to Armenia rejected by Ukraine

Ouest France newspaper confirms an exclusive article by Caliber.Az about the delivery of Bastion armoured personnel carrier to Armenia.

“The Bastion light armoured vehicles, produced by Arquus military equipment manufacturer, were supplied. The Bastion can transport eight soldiers, protecting against small arms fire and mines,” the message said.

These 12.5-ton vehicles were originally intended for Ukraine, but according to Kyiv’s authorities, they cannot protect from artillery fire and anti-tank missiles well.
