Georgian PM off to Brussels to take part in Global Gateway Forum
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has left on a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, Brussels.
Caliber.Az reports citing Georgian media that the head of the government will take part in the Global Gateway Forum 2023 organised by the European Commission.
Global Gateway is a European strategy aimed at improving secure connections in the digital, energy and transport sectors, as well as strengthening health, education and research systems around the world.
The Forum is in line with the UN 2030 Agenda, Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement. The strategy aims to mobilize investments of up to 300 billion euros to finance priority areas.
Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will be the keynote speaker at the forum's working panel - "Transport Corridors".
