Hackers claim to expose Israel's links with exiled prince, plans against Iran PHOTO
Iranian hacker group Handala stated it had gained access to more than 50,000 confidential emails allegedly revealing contacts between Israeli analysts and exiled Iranian crown prince Reza Pahlavi, as well as discussions on plans aimed at destabilising Iran.
The emails are said to belong to Raz Zimmt, director of the Iran and the Shiite Axis program at the Institute for National Security Studies at Tel Aviv University, according to Iranian media.
The group claimed Zimmt’s monthly budget allegedly reached $300,000 and was provided by Mossad.
Handala alleged the leaked correspondence includes documents related to joint initiatives with Reza Pahlavi and strategic discussions concerning Iran. The group also said it had identified several Iranian associates of Zimmt who were later arrested, publishing a downloadable archive of the emails under the code name “handala.”
