Information campaign on Armenian mine terror held in London and Manchester PHOTO
An information action was held in London and Manchester, reflecting the tragic consequences of the rupture of mines massively laid during the years of occupation by Armenian armed forces in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan.
Caliber.Az reports that during the action, organised by the British-Azerbaijani Society, trucks with LED screens displaying various slogans, hashtags, and information moved through the crowded central streets of London and Manchester. During the 8-hour event, the vehicles attracted the attention of local residents by travelling along London's Oxford Street, Regent Street, Picadilly, Westminister Bridge, Parliament Square, and Manchester's Picadilly Gardens, King Street, New Cathedral Street, Cheetham Hill Road, Canal Street, and so on.
Local residents were informed about such facts as 1.5 million mines laid by Armenian armed forces in Azerbaijani lands during the occupation, 147,988 hectares of territory heavily contaminated, and 675,570 hectares contaminated at medium and low levels, as well as that 3,393 people, including women and children, have fallen victim to mines from 1991 to the present, the number of mine victims from November 10, 2020 to September 19, 2023 reached 314 people, 67 of whom died. The campaign displayed hashtags such as #stoparmeniancrimes, #MapsForGarabaghSafety, and #GarabaghSafety.
