INMerge Innovation Summit kicks off second day With insights from industry leaders
The second day of the “INMerge Innovation Summit” has commenced in Baku, focusing on advancing the region's innovation ecosystem and fostering collaboration between startups and investors.
This annual summit serves as a vital platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas and experiences, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Today’s agenda features an impressive lineup of speakers, including Amazon Vice President Werner Vogels, YouTube co-founder Steve Chen, and PASHA Holding CEO Jalal Gasimov.
Also taking the stage are Inara Valiyeva, Chairperson of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, Linda Hill, founder of Paradox Strategies and InnovationForce, former CEO of Avito Vladimir Pravdivy, and Stanford University professor Ilya Strebulaev, among others.
In his remarks, Jalal Gasimov underscored the critical role of the INMerge Summit in promoting innovation. He emphasized that the most significant risk companies face today is stagnation in innovation, stating, “In a rapidly evolving world, the demands of consumers and advancements in technology are shifting dramatically. The share of digital marketing in overall marketing budgets has significantly increased compared to 5-10 years ago. Companies must be adaptable and embrace change to thrive.”
Gasimov highlighted the importance of events like the INMerge Summit in attracting diverse participants from around the globe, fostering a dynamic environment for innovation and new initiatives. The summit continues to be a pivotal gathering for shaping the future of the innovation landscape in the region.
