Kazakhstan to launch 11 international air routes in 2026
Kazakhstan is set to expand its international air connectivity in 2026 with the launch and resumption of multiple flight routes, according to the country’s Ministry of Transport.
Transport Minister Nurlan Sauranbayev, quoted by Kazakh media, announced that by the end of the year, Kazakhstan plans to open 11 international air routes, strengthening links between the country and key destinations across Asia and Europe.
The planned routes include several new and resumed connections from the capital, Astana, to Ulaanbaatar, Guangzhou, Issyk-Kul, Larnaca, and Kashgar. Additional routes will connect Almaty with major international cities, including Tokyo, Izmir, and Warsaw.
A multi-leg route linking Hanoi, Almaty, and Prague is also expected to be introduced, further enhancing transit connectivity. In addition, a regional route between Kostanay and Tashkent is planned.
