Krasnoyarsk business delegation seeks expanded ties with Azerbaijan in key sectors
Businessmen from Russia's Krasnoyarsk Region intend to expand ties with Azerbaijan in various spheres, including machine building, metallurgy, tourism, the food industry, and the agro-industrial complex.
This intention was articulated by Anton Zherebtsov, chairman of the Krasnoyarsk regional branch of Business Russia, following a working visit by a delegation of regional businessmen to Baku, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Zherebtsov highlighted that the purpose of the trip was to broaden cooperation with partners in friendly countries across diverse sectors of the economy.
"We are also actively working on attracting import-substituting technologies. The delegation familiarized itself with the capabilities of Azerbaijan's automotive and food industry flagships. Additionally, they discussed the potential for boosting tourism between our countries," he said.
During the visit, the heads of regional companies met with representatives of Azerbaijan's National Confederation of Entrepreneurs' (Employers') Organisations, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russian Community, and the trade representative of Azerbaijan. The discussions centered on enhancing interaction between the regions of Yenisei Siberia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
