Memory of victims of Armenian terror commemorated in Azerbaijan's Barda
A ceremony was held in Barda to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attack committed by the Armenian armed forces in the city on October 28, 2020.
The ceremony was organised in front of a memorial plaque installed at the site of the terrorist attack, Report informs.
The event was attended by MP Fatma Yildirim, representatives of Barda executive authorities, law enforcement bodies, Barda district PEA organisation, families and relatives of Patriotic War Martyrs, veterans, and public representatives.
The participants of the ceremony honoured the memory of the victims of the Barda terror with a minute of silence. Then wreaths and bouquets of flowers were laid on the memorial plaque.
It should be noted that the town of Barda was subjected to rocket attacks by the Armenian armed forces on October 5, 8, 27, 28 and November 7 during the 44-day Patriotic War. As a result of the terrorist attacks in Barda, 28 people were killed and 108 wounded. Major damage was caused to homes, civilian infrastructure and vehicles in the city.
