Minister: Türkiye to continue cooperation with Azerbaijan
Turkish Minister of Environment, Urban Development and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki has said that Türkiye is interested in continuing cooperation with brotherly Azerbaijan.
Özhaseki made the remarks during a visit to the monument to Turkish soldiers in Baku, Report informs.
“Azerbaijan and Türkiye always share each other’s joys and sorrows. We will continue cooperation with brotherly Azerbaijan. This is especially important in modern realities,” he said.
Özhaseki is on a visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the 2nd Meteorological Forum of the Turkic World in Baku.
Earlier, Özhaseki visited the Alley of Honor as part of his visit to Baku.
The minister paid tribute to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev laying flowers at his grave and also visited the grave of the outstanding ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Then Özhaseki visited the Alley of Martyrs and the monument to Turkish soldiers.
The minister was accompanied by the Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci.
