Minister: Victory in Second Karabakh War demonstrated Azerbaijani army’s power to world Zakir Hasanov congratulates Azerbaijani servicemen

Azerbaijani Defence Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov congratulated the personnel of the Azerbaijani army on the Eid al-Adha holiday.

“Dear officers, warrant officers, midshipmen, cadets, sergeants, soldiers, sailors, and employees! I heartily congratulate you on the Eid al-Adha holiday, I wish you success in your glorious service,” Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Defence Ministry.

According to the message, the holy Eid al-Adha holiday, which is annually celebrated in Azerbaijan at the state level, demonstrates kindness and compassion. Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev highly appreciated our national and spiritual values in the state-building policy.

“As a result of the successful policy which is pursued by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, a worthy successor to the political course of the great leader, Azerbaijan’s international prestige has greatly increased,” the message said.
According to the message, Azerbaijan is known in the world as a humanistic, tolerant state, which attaches importance to Islamic, universal national, and spiritual values and respects them.

“The brilliant victory gained in the Second Karabakh War under the leadership of the Azerbaijani Supreme Commander-in-Chief once again demonstrated to the world the might of the Azerbaijani army,” Hasanov said.

“I am sure that you will continue fulfilling the orders and instructions of the supreme commander at the highest level, further increasing your combat, morale, and psychological readiness,” the message said.
