MP: Armenian PM implementing West's anti-Russian plan
Armenian opposition MP Gagik Minasyan has said that the Armenian authorities are implementing the West’s plan to oust Russia from the South Caucasus.
“As long as these authorities comply with the West’s demands, any step they take will be welcomed by senior Western leaders,” Minasyan told the Armenian media, commenting on the US statements that Armenia is a “beacon of democracy” in the region, Caliber.Az reports.
“You know, in the last century, the Americans made such a statement about the Cuban dictator, when journalists and politicians said that he was terrible and violated human rights in Cuba, the Americans agreed, saying that he is ours. I think that they have not changed this wording, and any dictator who implements their geopolitical plan is acceptable to them, regardless of whether human rights are violated or whether there is democracy. This is of no value to them,” the MP said.
