New cross-border payment solution set to revolutionize Azerbaijan-Türkiye transfers

Turkish fintech company United Payment is set to introduce its new payment solution, TURAN, to the Azerbaijani market within the next month.

Edgar Abdullayev, Managing Director of United Payment LLC in Azerbaijan said that the primary objective of TURAN is to facilitate seamless money transfers from Azerbaijan to Türkiye, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.

Following the initial launch, the company aims to expand the service to additional countries, enhancing cross-border financial transactions for its users.

United Payment, previously known as Birleşik Ödeme, has been active in the financial technology sector since receiving its e-money license in 2015. The company began its partnership with Wise in Türkiye in 2017 and established its first international office in Azerbaijan in 2020.
