Putin receives special Turkish gift from Erdogan for his birthday
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sent a special birthday present to Russian President Vladimir Putin, as confirmed by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
The announcement was made to Russian media, revealing that the gift was dispatched prior to a recent conversation between the two leaders, Caliber.Az reports.
While Ushakov did not provide specific details about the gift, he described it as a “good Turkish present.” When asked if the gift fell within the three thousand roubles limit set for civil servants, Ushakov humorously remarked that it cost “a little more.”
In addition to Erdogan’s gesture, China also marked Putin's birthday with a unique tribute, projecting a portrait of him in the night sky using light drones over Guangzhou, accompanied by the message “Happy Birthday, Mr. President.”
On October 7, Putin celebrated his 72nd birthday, a day that included private working meetings, as stated by his press secretary, Dmitry Peskov. Musicians from Niger also joined in the celebrations by recording a rap birthday greeting titled “Vladimir Putin Rules,” sung in French and highlighting the Russian leader's efforts to improve the welfare of his people.
Peskov further noted that leaders from unfriendly nations did not extend their congratulations to Putin on his birthday, responding succinctly to a journalist's inquiry with, “No, they did not.”
