The Russian Embassy in Armenia announced that 175 employees of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant were flown from Yerevan to Moscow on April 6 aboard a special flight, Caliber.Az reports.
The embassy said the evacuation was carried out with the assistance of Armenian authorities, whom it thanked for facilitating rapid entry procedures for staff associated with the state nuclear corporation Rosatom.
The latest operation brings the total number of individuals evacuated through Armenian territory to 509 since the escalation of hostilities betweeen U.S.-Israeli forces and Iran.
