Russia excludes nationalist figure from terrorist blacklist
The Russian financial monitoring authority has removed nationalist Alexander Potkin, also known as Belov, from its official list of terrorists and extremists.
The decision was announced by the Federal Financial Monitoring Service of the Russian Federation, Rosfinmonitoring, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
No explanation has been provided for Potkin’s removal from the register.
With his exclusion, Potkin is no longer subject to restrictions imposed on individuals included in the list. These restrictions include limitations on engaging with media outlets, publishing content online, organizing public events, participating in elections, and accessing financial services, with the exception of transactions related to taxes, salaries, and compensation for damages.
