Russia: Five Ukrainian Tochka-U missiles intercepted
Russian air defence systems intercepted five Ukrainian Tochka-U ballistic missiles in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) and in the Kherson region.
TASS reports referring to the official representative of the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov on July 13.
In addition, the Russian military managed to shoot down 18 shells of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) in the Kharkiv region, the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the LPR and in the Luhansk region.
Konashenkov added that Russian air defence also destroyed a Su-25 attack aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Mykolayiv region and nine drones near Kharkiv, Mykolayiv and in the DPR.
According to the Ministry of Defence, in total, since the beginning of the special operation, the Russian military has destroyed 4,192 military vehicles, 3,145 field artillery pieces and mortars, 744 MLRS combat vehicles, 4,050 armoured vehicles, 354 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMs), 1,522 drones, 247 aircraft and 137 helicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
